Environmental Policy

ReWorked Clothing Limited, recognises the importance of its environmental impact and is committed to a policy of ongoing care for the environment. Our foremost objective and duty of care is to do business without adversely affecting the environment. In support of this goal, we consider the impact to the environment of all our operations and activities and ensure this impact is minimised.

Specifically, we commit to:

• Ensure compliance with all current, relevant legislation
• Prevent pollution to water, air and land caused by our activities
• Fulfil compliance obligations
• Continually improve the environmental management system to enhance environmental performance
• Implement and maintain an environmental management system that is compliant with BS EN ISO14001: 2015
• Set objectives to continually reduce waste, environmental impacts and carbon emissions. Supporting our global target to be Net Zero by 2050 at the latest by reducing carbon emissions throughout our operations. Also by reducing our reliance on single use plastics in our warehouse operations and in the products that we sell.
• Allocate suitable and sufficient resources which enable the company to achieve its environmental aims and objectives
• Consider the effects that our operations may have on the local community
• Act to eliminate or reduce, as far as practicable, any potential risk to the environment
• Promote environmental awareness amongst our suppliers, contractors and partners by the implementation of operational procedures
• Follow a path of continual improvement in our environmental performance
• Ensure employees are trained and fully engaged in the management of environmental issues
• Seek to work in partnership with suppliers and the community by behaving in a considerate and socially responsible manner
• Ensure effective and expedient incident control, investigation and reporting
• Assess and address the risks and opportunities related to our operations
• Consider the external and Internal expectations of interested parties

Directors, management and supervisory staff have responsibilities for the communication and implementation of the policy and must ensure that environmental issues are given adequate consideration in the planning and day-to-day operations.


All employees and subcontractors are expected to co-operate and assist in the implementation of this policy, whilst ensuring that their own work, so far as reasonably practicable, is carried out without risk to themselves, others or the environment. This includes co-operating with management on any environment-related matters.
